The university Board of Trustees convened for the first session in 2018 and stressing on sustainable development of the university with new prospective towards the future.

Chaired by Professor El Samani Abdel Mutalib ,chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University. The university Board of Trustees had set into action on Friday 20thy January 2018. Dr El shazali Eisa Hamad has announced that, the meeting had discussed the academic and administrative outcome of the previous year 2017, and the university plans for the year 2016,which comprised of (8) alignments. The establishment of a Consulting Unit in the university, to serve the White Nile State Society in adversity of arising ; Engineering, Technical, Legal and Academic matters ,and whatever the issues that may arise. In his announcement, Professor Abdel Mutalib, Chairman of the Board, valued the university plan for the year 2018, for calling for the rapid evolvement . Especially in academic , scientific research fields, and for the improvement of the university environment .He added that the university Board of Trustees have raised the banner for the three fundamentals : Construction ,Training and Technology.
