On the 20th of December a meeting was held chaired by Prof. Gamar Al Dawlah , the university vice chancellor , At Prof. Abdel Bagi Abdel Gani compound and attended by Prof. Mohammad Al Amin Kibir the dean of quality , evaluation and accreditation and the members of the textbook committee. The meeting discussed a number of issues among which were textbook publishing and writing regulations and made a preliminary assessment of the authoring situation

Dr. Gamar Al Dawalah thanked those faculties that wrote and published textbooks of which he mentioned the faculty of economics and banking studies and called on the other faculties to exert more effort saying through this the university seeks to spread the culture of writing and publishing and to fight constraints to textbook publication.
