Prof. Alsamani Abdel Mutalab Ahmad the chairman of the board of trustees, white Nile university chaired the first meeting in 2020 of the university board of directors in the presence of Prof. alshazali Issa Hamad the vice chancellor and board members . Prof. alshazali presented the university performance report for 2019 and the university plan for 2020 which focused on supplying the library with references and raising the percentage allocated to community service from 2% to 2.9%, the activation of partnerships with relevant institutions and organizations. The plan also emphasized the activation of media to reflect, document and archive the university programs and activities in all fields so as to communicate the university social message . The plan also included to speed up the completion of all university facilities. Prof. Alsamani Abdelmutalab the chairman of the board of directors greeted the university staff and their great well recognized effort which made the university one of the most distinguished non government universities in Sudan as evident in the results and in its graduates who joined the labor force. He emphasized the importance of applying technology . Prof. Al Samani called for honoring distintugished graduates and the provision of 100 Pcs and 50 tabs for labs and announced training opportunities abroad for university employees and promotion of scientific exchange trips for students internally and outside the Sudan for performance improvement. Dr. Gamar Al Dawlah , the deputy vice chancellor affirmed the university efforts to serve the local community and the state through studies and research in all services areas where assistance is needed stressing the importance of reaching those who need services inside and outside the state. The principal of the university presented the financial performance report for 2019 and the 2020 budget which promised well for employees with its focus on job satisfaction . Finally Prof . Al Samani thanked board members, guests, the media and all those present.
