The fourth meeting of the Deans Council of White Nile University for the year 2026 was held at the university campus in Kosti, chaired by Professor El-Shazali Eisa Hamad, President of the University. The meeting was attended by Vice President Dr. Qamar Al-Dawla Abdul-Muttalib Ahmed, University Registrar Dr. Essam El-Din Ahmed Mohamed Badri, Academic Affairs Secretary Dr. Bishara Eisa Hamad, and a number of college deans.
The council discussed a number of key agenda items, most notably the regulations for e-learning, blended learning, and distance learning, following their approval by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The regulations were reviewed to brief college deans on their provisions and implementation requirements.
Professor El-Shazali Eisa Hamad emphasized that the university administration is working to prepare and streamline all necessary procedures to apply the regulations and execute their directives across the various university colleges. He highlighted the organization of several training courses and workshops for university personnel to accelerate the execution of the e-learning program.
He reaffirmed the university administration's commitment to continuing internal and external training programs for all university staff in coordination with the Deanship of Quality Assurance, Assessment, and Accreditation, thereby contributing to capacity building and enhancing performance efficiency in e-learning and blended learning.
Furthermore, the council directed the review and updating of educational content on electronic platforms to align with the requirements of e-learning and blended learning, ensuring optimal utilization of modern technologies in the educational process.
Additionally, the council reviewed a progress report on lectures across various university colleges presented by Dr. Bishara Eisa Hamad, Secretary of Academic Affairs. The report reflected the weekly lecture progress in several semesters, alongside a review of the faculty portal report.
