About Faculty
The College of Computer Science and Information Technology was established concurrently with the founding of the University, initially offering a Technical Diploma in Computer Science. Driven by the University's continuous development, additional programs were introduced according to the following timeline:
- August 22, 2002: Introduction of the Technical Diploma in Management Information Systems and the Technical Diploma in Accounting Information Systems.
- August 29, 2010: Addition of the Bachelor of Information Technology (four-year program) to the existing curriculum.
- June 3, 2016: Final approval was granted for the Information Systems program.
Aligned with its strategic development plan and in response to rapid global technological advancements, the College strives to introduce further programs and specializations in computer science and IT in the near future.
College Overview:
The College follows an Annual System (Modified Semi-Semester) based on Credit Hours. This system determines the specific number of credit hours a student must successfully complete, as defined by the College administration, to earn a Bachelor’s degree, a Technical Diploma, or Continuing Education certificates in various specializations.
