Overview
The White Nile Center for Scientific Research (WNCSR) was established in 2021 as a Center within the White Nile University (WNU), other than a department or a school, with the purpose of advancing scholarly activity primarily through collaborative research, research training, research dissemination, or creative endeavours. The Centers focused on answering important societal or scientific questions and/or the development of useful products and/or services. The Center is created by the WNU to complimenting her providing the proper services in the field of education and its role towards the Local Community and same wise at the National Level by helping in upgrading their living standard. Moreover, the Center is a facility within the WNU that supports strategic areas of importance by highlighting materials from specific programs, showcasing research of several branch Centers, and bringing together scholarship from various disciplines. WNCSR is governed by a Board of Directors chaired by the WNU Chancellor, which reflects the appreciation and importance of the Center to the University credibility, upscaling and development. Moreover, the Center is headed by a Director General.

- Dissemination of Research. In general Research Centers can specialize in Basic or Applied Research, however this Center is more inclined to Applied Research.
