Students of the Faculty of Law at White Nile University paid a visit to Dr. Al-Tayeb Al-Waseela Heart Center, led by Dr. Najwa Abdel Razek, Dean of the Faculty, Mr. Mukashfi Abdeen, Academic Registrar, Mr. Mahdi Al-Tahir, and Mr. Hussam Al-Din Al-Noor.
The delegation was received by Dr. Al-Tayeb Al-Waseela, Consultant of Internal Medicine and Cardiology and Director of the Center. During the visit, the students provided support to patients inside the center, in addition to distributing a lunch meal to all patients.
Dr. Najwa Abdel Razek, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized that this initiative falls within the framework of the Faculty of Law's social responsibility programs at the university. She noted that this initiative is not the first of its kind for the faculty, as it has regularly organized various initiatives serving vital segments of the community. She added that the Deanship of the Faculty has planned several humanitarian initiatives to be executed in the coming period in coordination with relevant authorities.
For his part, Dr. Al-Tayeb Al-Waseela, Director of the Center, welcomed the delegation and commended the initiative, describing it as truly humanitarian. He stressed that the community is in great need of such efforts and praised the role played by the students in serving the state's citizens, noting that the center is fully prepared to contribute to and participate in similar initiatives.
Furthermore, he affirmed the center’s commitment to receiving any needy individual unable to afford treatment costs and providing them with free medical and healthcare services based on the center’s available capabilities.
