The Faculty of Economics and Banking Studies at White Nile University organized an academic field trip to the Kenana Sugar Company in White Nile State, led by Dr. Ahmed Abdelrahman and Dr. Rashida Abbas Al-Awad, with the participation of eighth-semester students from the faculty.
The visit aimed to provide students with a hands-on opportunity to observe the stages of sugar production and manufacturing, as well as to learn about the technical and administrative operations involved in managing one of Sudan's largest industrial projects. The tour included exploring operational mechanisms within the factory and across its various production lines, alongside examining the administrative and organizational procedures used to manage operational processes.
This visit comes as part of the faculty's programs aimed at enhancing students' practical skills and field experience, contributing to the preparation of qualified professionals capable of keeping pace with labor market demands and benefiting from successful experiences in the economic and industrial sectors.
