The Association of the Faculty of Nursing Sciences at White Nile University organized an environmental sanitation day at the medical complex in the presence and honor of Dr. Al-Samani Muhammad Al-Ghali, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Thuwaiba Abbas, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Sciences, and Dr. Al-Fatih Suleiman, the university’s psychologist, along with a number of professors and members of the association’s executive office. The day included educational lectures about cholera and the importance of caring for the environment, in addition to introductory exhibitions and an environmental sanitation campaign within the medical complex. Dr. Al-Samani Muhammad Al-Ghali stressed the importance of scientific, cultural, social and sporting student activities in refining students’ talents and developing their knowledge and skills, praising the great activity carried out by the association despite its recent founding, and affirming the commitment of the Deanship of Student Affairs to supporting such activities and associations. Dr. Thuwaiba Abbas expressed her happiness with the activities offered by her students that reflect their awareness of their medical and societal responsibilities, appreciating the prominent role of the association and the students of the second batch in actively participating in student activities. In the same context, student Samia Kubbar explained that the goal of this activity is to raise the level of health awareness among students and highlight the importance of environmental safety, confirming the great interaction that the activity received from students.
